Capt. H. Robert Brady, Jr.

Capt. Bob Brady was born in Atlantic City, NJ. and lived much of his life in Allentown, Pa. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. During a mission over Japan flying a B-29, he saw another B-29, under attack by Japanese fighters, drop out of formation. He went to the aid of the damaged bomber, fought off the fighters, and escorted it back to base. For his actions, he was cited for a Distinguished Flying Cross.

Bob was survived by his wife, Dianne; and their daughter, Cynthia. He is also survived by his son, Bruce Harting. He was predeceased by his son Brett Alan Brady. He is seen here in the cockpit of a DC-8-63CF and in a military uniform.
