Marty Ribakoff was born in Brooklyn, NY. He served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. In 1948, he was one of the first volunteers in the Israeli Air Force. He joined Seaboard in 1950 but left after a few years and worked as a flight instructor.
Marty moved to central Florida in 1984 and spent his remaining years in Winter Park. He was survived by his wife, Blanche; sons, David, Larry, Roger, and John; daughters, Catherine Kenig and Robin; sister, Ethel Hoffman; and five grandchildren.
