Joe Hennessey was a licensed F.A.A. dispatcher. He lived in Limerick, Ireland, and worked in operations at Shannon for several airlines, including Seaboard. He also worked for Seaboard as an animal handler, notably on the "monkey flights" from India. He also worked for Air America in Southeast Asia. He was the author of Shannon Die Never, a book about life in Limerick.
Joe is survived by his daughters Susan, Janet and Sharon; and son, Joey. He is seen here in Kilkee, Ireland in 2008.
