Capt. J. Paul Jordan, Jr.

Capt. Paul Jordan was born in Orange, New Jersey and grew up in Clark, New Jersey. He attended the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburg, Penn. He was hired by Seaboard in 1965 and retired from Flying Tigers in 1989.

Paul was predeceased by his wife of 22 years, Patricia. He is survived by three stepdaughters from his first wife, Linda; Michelle (David) Hummel, Laura (Jeff) Baker, and Marilyn (Mark) Schaukowitsch; and three stepdaughters from Patricia; JoAnn Ruby, Mary Ellen Brennan, and Donna Sacks, all of New Jersey. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, a great grandson, and his former wife, Linda Andrechyn, Crozet.

Paul is seen above in a De Haviland Tiger Moth he and Kurt Hofschneider restored in 1972 - 1973. In the summer of 1973, they flew it to the EAA fly-in at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The airplane was judged Antique Category Champion, WWII 1939-1945, against fierce competition. They later donated it to the National Museum of the USAF in Dayton, Ohio.
