Diana Morgan was born in Ossining, NY. While in high school, her aunt took her on a flight to Florida. That hooked Diana on flying and she went to school in New York City to learn to be a flight attendant (or stewardess, as they were then called). She was hired by Seaboard in 1961 and flew as a flight attendant through the mergers with Flying Tigers and FedEx. Her airline career lasted approximately 30 years.

In 2005, Diana volunteered at the Hiller Aviation Museum in San Carlos, Calif. She worked as docent, gallery greeter, and "Chief Stewardess" on special flights of the museum's DC-3. She had the same position when the DC-3 was previously owned by the Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Company. She was never married and left no surviving close family members. She is survived by her cousin, Harvey Wood Jr. who provided biographical information.

Diana is seen here wearing a muumuu that was part of the ensemble that Seaboard flight attendants wore starting in 1968.
